　　賓語(yǔ)從句表達“是否”的意思時(shí)，一般whether與if 都能用，但是以下三種情況只能用whether。

　�。�1）賓語(yǔ)從句放在句首表示強調。

　　Whether this is true or not, I really don't know.

　�。�2）引導詞后面緊跟著(zhù)or not連用。

　　We didn't know whether or not she was ready.

　�。�3）引導詞后面接動(dòng)詞不定式。

　　Can you tell me whether to go or to stay?
