Though there are no exact figures for the ecotourism segment， a government-sponsored push for rural tourism —— usually involving staying with farmers —— has become popular in China in recent years.

雖然生態(tài)旅游方面還沒(méi)有確切的統計數據，不過(guò)近年來(lái)由政府資助推出的鄉村旅游項目(通常被稱(chēng)為“農家樂(lè )”)卻已在中國廣受歡迎。

上面的報道中，ecotourism就是近幾年經(jīng)常被提及的一種旅游形式“生態(tài)旅游”，其實(shí)就是ecological和tourism兩個(gè)詞結合而成的，類(lèi)似的用法還有eco city(生態(tài)城市)，eco-farming(生態(tài)農業(yè))等。另外，這里還提到了rural tourism “鄉村旅游”，算是ecotourism的一個(gè)初步形式吧。其他常見(jiàn)的旅游形式還有：package tour(背包游)，DIY tour(自助游)，group/organized tour(團體游)，medical tour(醫療旅游)等。
