　　It代指of you to help me with my English（這個(gè)句子已經(jīng)轉化成了名詞詞組）這件事。

　　of引出 help me with my English的主體you，to轉化含五動(dòng)全形help的部分為to help me with my English的非五動(dòng)全形名詞詞組。

　　用of 而不用for，因為kind 屬于人（you）的屬性特征，of 表“you擁有kind的屬性特征”。

　　換言之（比較例句7和例句8），可以說(shuō)you are kind，而不能說(shuō)he is difficult.

　　9.They feel it difficult to do the math.

　　他們覺(jué)得難解這道數學(xué)題。

　　10.I find it difficult for him to do the math.

　　我感覺(jué)他難解這道數學(xué)題。

　　11.We think it a question whether he’ll come or not.

　　我們認為他來(lái)還是不來(lái)還是未知數。

　　12.The teacher remains it undecided who will be the leader of the class.

　　老師仍然未決定誰(shuí)來(lái)當班長(cháng)。

　　13.I took it for granted that you would help me with my English.

　　我曾想當然地以為你會(huì )幫我學(xué)習英語(yǔ)。

　　14.He found it no use arguing with his mother about doing his homework on time.

　　他發(fā)覺(jué)跟他媽媽爭論準時(shí)完成家庭作業(yè)的問(wèn)題沒(méi)有用。

　　15.I’d much appreciate it if you could help me with my English.

　　如果你幫我學(xué)習英語(yǔ)，我會(huì )非常感激。

　　以上句9～句15，it指代部分都用斜體表示。與句1～句8的區別在于：句9～句15中的it做受體，結構作用不同而已。其它解釋一樣。
